Sunday Post (Weekly Wrap Up March 6th – 12th)

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This meme was created for bloggers to spotlight posts they published in the week, as well as to talk about what they plan to write in the week that’s coming.

Sunday post is also great opportunity to showcase books we got in the week behind us.

Hi Guys!

I know I am a bit late with my Sunday Post, but since I didn’t schedule one, and I was at my sister today (we just came back few minutes ago), I realized now it’s the perfect time to write and post one.

Believe it or not, this week I haven’t read a book. I read, but almost nothing. I guess I’m in a reading slump.

What I did this week was cleaning my house and reorganizing my book shelves.
When I was done, I decided to get rid of 43 books.
I found the new owners for more then a half of them, but there are still 16 books that need a new owner.

Last week on Book Dust Magic:

Monday: I reviewed The Fifth Letter by Nicola Moriarty

Tuesday: I posted my February Wrap Up

Wednesday: I reviewed Annabel Lee by Mike Nappa

Saturday: I reviewed Cruel Beautiful World by Caroline Leavitt

Next week on Book Dust Magic:

Upcoming reviews:

Book Haul:

For review:

Lovely people from Simon & Schuster sent me this beautiful hardback edition of Orange Blossom Days. I will definitely read this one next.

I was so happy when I got approved for eARC of this novel on Edelweiss.

I couldn’t wait so I started Things That Happened Before the Earthquake yesterday. So far it’s good, but I’m only 15% in.

That is it!
Let me know what’s been going on with you, what you’ve been reading or watching this week and feel free to leave your links so I can visit you.
Have a lovely Sunday!

Hi guys!

I hope you’re having a lovely Sunday!

This week was pretty slow and monotonous for me.
Except meeting some friends and family, not much was going on.
I was more active on my Goodreads group then in blogosphere. February challenge started and right now my reading team is placed first, which is great, especially considering that me and my January team were placed very last in January challenge.

My review for Split movie grabbed more attention on twitter then I expected. I was criticized for supporting it, and for writing in my review that the main character is schizophrenic.
Since then I learned more about DID, and I added a note about that as an addition to my review.

Last week on Book Dust Magic:

Monday: I reviewed Split in my Movie Monday post

Wednesday: I reviewed White Lies & Wishes by Cathy Bramley

Thursday: I talked about my reading/blogging plans for 2017

Saturday: I reviewed Alabester: What is Most Precious is Also Most Fragile by Chris Aslan

Next week on Book Dust Magic:

Upcoming reviews:

books: freeks annabel-lee

I also plan to post my January wrap-up and tell you what book I can’t wait to be released in my WoW post.

It has been forever since the last time I posted Weekly Wrap Up.
The thing is, I was on “blogging vacation” for a very long time, and got back to blogging last week, but I only posted few posts, so I didn’t feel like Weekly Wrap Up was neccessary.

This week, however, I posted more, so I decided to get back to posting on Sundays.

It’s really great to be back and I am really looking forward to blog in 2017.
I am already planning my blogging schedule and I can say I really missed being a part of blogosphere.

This week wasn’t my best, when it comes to blogging.
I kind of disappeared after Thursday and, since I haven’t scheduled posts that supposed to go live on Friday and Saturday, they never made it.
However, they will go live the week after this next one (that is already planned).
This whole situation made me learn a valuable lesson: always schedule your blog posts!

Other then that, this week was somewhat interesting.
I buddy read A List of Cages with my friend Jasmine from How Useful It Is. We both loved it and our reviews should go live this Tuesday.

Also, my Nook (e-reader) chrashed and now I have to read my ebooks on my phone, and let me tell you, I don’t like it. It’s been only few days, but I already miss my e-ink screen.
I plan to read ebooks I already got for review, but I don’t plan to request any books from Netgalley from now own (the only exception will be Sophie Kinsella’s new book in UK edition, if it ever shows up on Netgalley).

I plan to buy myelf a new ereader (probaby Nook again), but I don’t think that will happen too soon.

Last week on Book Dust Magic:

Monday: I talked about movie called Nine Lives, in my Movie Monday post

Wednesday: I talked about By Your Side in my WoW post

Thursday: I reviewed The Empire State Cat’s Christmas Gift by Nic Tatano

Next week on Book Dust Magic:

Upcoming reviews:

movies: definitely-maybe

books: a-list-of-cages chocolate-lovers-christmas miracle-in-a-museum
