Books I read in October (Monthly Reading Wrap Up) #BookBloggers #BookLovers #Reading #October

Hi Guys,

October was not the best month for me reading wise. The reading and reviewing slumps got me and I managed to finish only 6 books.
It wouldn’t be that bad if I didn’t have all the time in the world to actually read, but it is what it is now. I guess my brain just needed some time off from reading and to focus on other things.

Since then my reading slump has passed and I hope to read 10+ books in November.
This is the last month I’ll be focusing mostly on my Netgalley eARCs because in December I want to read all the books I didn’t get into this year, and of course, my festive novels.

You can expect the reviews for the books I’ve read in the next couple of weeks.

Here are the books I read in October:

Well Met by Jen DeLuca book cover One Winter Morning by Isabelle Broom book cover The Babysitters Coven by Kate Williams book cover The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman book cover US edition One Christmas Star by Mandy Baggot book cover Olive, Again by Elizabeth Strout book cover US edition

Favourite book of the month: One Christmas Star by Mandy Baggot book cover

That is it!

How I failed Contemporary-a-thon #Contemporaryathon #BookLovers #Reading #Readathon

Hi guys,

If you follow my blog you probably know that I decided to participate in contemporary-a-thon, a readathon that took place last week.
There were 7 challenges and I was really ambitious, which you can read in my TBR post.

However, my reading was not going well last week, and I finished only 2 books, which is even worse then my Reading Rush wrap up was.

The main reason for my failure is the wrong choice of a book. I decided to read How to Make Friends with the Dark as my dark/hard hitting contemporary, and I just couldn’t bring myself to read it faster then I did, because it was so emotional.

If I was smarter, I would read multiple books at time, but I wasn’t, so I guess I learned my lesson for another time.

So in the end I read 757 pages and finished 4 challenges: Read a 2019 release, Read a dark/hard-hitting contemporary, Read a contemporary with an illustrated cover and Read a contemporary with plants on the cover.

These are two books that I have read: How to Make Friends with the Dark by Kathleen Glasgow book cover and I Know You Remember by Jennifer Donaldson book cover.

Tell me did you participate in Contemporary-a-thon?
How many books did you read?

November Reading Wrap Up #November #AmReading #BookLovers #BookBloggers

Hi Guys!
Are you ready for the last month of the year? I surely am, and am so excited for the last few books I’ll be reading before the year is over, but firstly, let me show you what books I finished during November.

During November I have read 9 books, and I am pretty satisfied with that.
Now only 9 books keep me from reaching my goal of reading 80 books in 2018.
I mean, I have already reached my Goodreads goal (60 books), but now when I see that I’ve read 71 (in reality, it’s 72 bc one book isn’t listed on Goodreads) I couldn’t help and mentally I increased the number.

These are the books I read in November:
