Sunday post (Weekly Wrap Up Dec. 12th – 18th)

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This meme was created for bloggers to spotlight posts they published in the week, as well as to talk about what they plan to write in the week that’s coming.

Sunday post is also great opportunity to showcase books we got in the week behind us.

This week wasn’t my best, when it comes to blogging.
I kind of disappeared after Thursday and, since I haven’t scheduled posts that supposed to go live on Friday and Saturday, they never made it.
However, they will go live the week after this next one (that is already planned).
This whole situation made me learn a valuable lesson: always schedule your blog posts!

Other then that, this week was somewhat interesting.
I buddy read A List of Cages with my friend Jasmine from How Useful It Is. We both loved it and our reviews should go live this Tuesday.

Also, my Nook (e-reader) chrashed and now I have to read my ebooks on my phone, and let me tell you, I don’t like it. It’s been only few days, but I already miss my e-ink screen.
I plan to read ebooks I already got for review, but I don’t plan to request any books from Netgalley from now own (the only exception will be Sophie Kinsella’s new book in UK edition, if it ever shows up on Netgalley).

I plan to buy myelf a new ereader (probaby Nook again), but I don’t think that will happen too soon.

Last week on Book Dust Magic:

Monday: I talked about movie called Nine Lives, in my Movie Monday post

Wednesday: I talked about By Your Side in my WoW post

Thursday: I reviewed The Empire State Cat’s Christmas Gift by Nic Tatano

Next week on Book Dust Magic:

Upcoming reviews:

movies: definitely-maybe

books: a-list-of-cages chocolate-lovers-christmas miracle-in-a-museum

I also plan to talk about beautiful Christmas Covers and there will be a new giveaway going on Wednesday.

October Wrap Up + Book Haul

October was the best reading month I have had in my life. Before that month, my monthly record was 10 books read. This month, believe it or not, I managed to finish 12 books. Okay, one of them is a picture book and one is novella, but still, I am pretty impressed.

I watched some youtube videos about how you can speed up your reading (become faster reader) and I tried some of those methods during second part of the month and you know what? I noticed I read faster, but I am still not a fast reader by any means nor will I ever speed read, because I like to read every single word and, as I like to say, read like a writer would.
Maybe I should just say I like to be a critical reader (but always trying my best to be respectful).

Okay, I won’t bore you with my rambling anymore…

Here are the books I read during October: (click on covers will lead you to my reviews)

I am back and here is my July Wrap Up + Book Haul

Hi guys, long time no see! I took some time off blogosphere, as you probably noticed.
The reason for doing so is that my life just got pretty busy and hectic and I felt like I needed a pause from everything.
I thought I’d just take few days off from reading and blogging, so I could recharge my inner batteries.
Few days turned into week and then even more then a week, but the good thing is I am back now and I do feel better, so I guess taking a little pause when it comes to blogging wasn’t a bad idea.

Now, I have some catching up to do. I guess it will take some time to visit all of you guys on your blogs, but it doesn’t matter.

I plan to post on regular basis from now on and I hope to have at least 2 book reviews per week. I also plan to do some tags and other book related posts. Movie Monday will also be back and of course, some giveaways are planned as well.

Ok, now when I said everything that was on my mind here is my

June Wrap Up and Book Haul

In month of June I read only four books, one of them being manga. So basically, I read only three books.

Honestly, I don’t even remember when was the last time I read so few books during one month.

I was pretty bussy, then went on a holiday, and istead of binge reading, I took my time with a book and enjoyed it slowly.

I don’t mind, because I rediscovered the beauty of slow reading.
I am not sure how my reading pace’s going to be this and in a next few months, but I would like to take my time with books so I could fully experience them, even if it means less books read in a month.

This are the books I read in June:

alice in wonderland disney daring in a blue dress martini henry A Summer of Secrets

My favorite book of the month: martini henry

Book Haul:

April Wrap Up and Book Haul

In April I ended up finishing 10 books and I am so happy about it because that is more book then I usually manage to read during a month.

I had luck when it comes to reading because I ended up liking all the books I read, which means I ratd all of them with more then three stars. Those kind of months are so rare.

Luck was also on my side giveaways wise because I won some amazing books this month.

All in all, I can’t complain!

Withouth further ado, here are the books I read in April:

the second love truth or date splintered timmy winners what's left of me the winner's crime my single friend the nearly weds alisa

My very late February Wrap Up + Book Haul

I know, I know… It’s already 10th in the month, and I still haven’t posted my February Wrap Up.

I have no excuses, at least not good ones.
I was away from home and wasn’t smart enough to scedule my blog posts prior to my trip.
That is also the reason why I’ve been MIA for more then a week now and why I wasn’t so active in blogosphere either.

Next time, I’ll be better and smarter, I promise!

Now to the wrap up and haul…

In month of February I read 7 books: 5 novels, 1 short story and 1 graphic novel.

Monthly Wrap Up + Book Haul: January 2016

In the month of January I read total of 6 books.

If I told you I was happy with the number of books I read, I’d be lying.

However, since my average monthly number is 7, I don’t think 6 is a bad number. I decided not to stress myself too much when it comes to reading and just read at the pace that I feel comfortable with.

These are the books I read in January: (click on the cover to see my review)
