Movie Monday: The Hustle – Oh so funny! #HustleMovie #MovieMonday #MovieReview #Comedy

Movie Monday is a feature here on my blog, in which I’m rambling about movies I’ve watched lately.

Today I want to talk about a comedy I watched this weekend, that was recommended to me by my frined.

I remember when The Hustle was in teathers and I was interested in it, but missed it because there was some other movie I decided to watch instead (don’t quote me on that, but I think it was Annabelle Comes Home).

This movie was recommended to me by my friend Monika who really enjoyed it, so I knew I’d see it at some point.

I love good comedy from time to time. It is actually my second favourite genre when it comes to movies (horrors being no 1).

The Hustle was really funny and enjoyable. I laughed at so many scenes while watching and there was one particular trick main characters used to escape that I haven’t seen before, and I thought it was so original! It still makes me smile when I think about it!

The main actresses were amazing, as it was expected from two established women in this industry.
Anne Hathaway looked so beautiful to me, I just have to mention it.

I like how the movie was not too long (1h and 33 min according to IMDb). I feel like these days most movies are at least 2 hours long, so everytime there’s a shorter one, I appreciate it.

Overall, I think The Hustle was an interesting and funny movie to watch which fulfilled it’s purpose, and that was to entertain the audience.

Movie Monday: A Dog’s Journey – I fell in love with it #ADogsJourney #ADogsPurpose #Movie #MovieReview

Movie Monday is a feature here on my blog, in which I’m rambling about movies I’ve watched lately.

It’s been a while since I’ve done Movie Monday but this weekend I watched a movie I fell hard in love with, so I have to tell you guys about it, in hope you will give it a watch too.

A Dog’s Journey

It has been a while since I did a Movie Monday feature here on my blog, and to be perfectly honest, the reason for it was that I haven’t go to the cinema in a very long time, so I fell discouraged to talk about movies I watch on tv.

However, this weekend I watched a movie that just came out on DVD recently, and since I completely fell in love with it, I have to tell you all about it (okay, not all, but my feels at least).

A Dog’s Journey is a movie that melted my heart in one warm caramel. I don’t even remember when was the last time I felt so many positive emotions during one movie as I felt when watching this picture.
It talks about life of a girl from perspective of a dog who’s purpose is to keep her safe.

What I didn’t know (because, obviously, I live under a rock) that this movie is a sequel to another movie that came out in 2017: A Dog’s Purpose.
Still, even though I haven’t watched the first movie, I could still follow the story without any problem, because A Dog’s Journey stands perfectly on it’s own.
Nevertheless, I plan to watch A Dog’s Purpose next weekend (and maybe I’ll feature it in my next Movie Monday).

As soon as I finished this wonderful film I messaged my friend who has the similar taste to mine with recommendation.
Now I’m doing a similar thing to you, people who read my blog: I wholeheartedly endorse you to give A Dog’s Journey a chance because I assure you: you will probably love it.
If you end up loving it just as half as much as I did, I am sure you will not regret 109 minutes of your life, because it will be time well spent.

Movie Monday: We’re the Millers

Movie Monday is a weekly feature here on my blog, in which I’m rambling about movies I’ve watched lately.

This week I watched a fantastic comedy and enjoyed every minute of it!

We’re the Millers

were-the-millersI watched We’re the Millers when it first came out three years ago and really, REALLY loved it. My father, who does not watch comedies often also loved it. Actually, he loved it so much he watched it twice in the same week.
This week, this fantastic movie that made me laugh out tears was on our national TV and, of course, I decided to re-watch it.

I loved it just as much as I loved it the first time. The story is so entertaining, with all the phrases I couldn’t help but laugh to.
The cast is also great. If you ask me, all the actors did an excellent job.

My favorite was Will Poulter who plays Kenny Rossmore (or “the fake son”). This movie was actually the first I saw him in and I immediately knew I want to watch movies he’ll act in in the future and see how his career will develop.

The most hilerious scene was the one with spider bite, no question asked!

I watched the movie in the company of my boyfriend who watched it for the first time. He also really enjoyed it and said it was the best comedy he saw in a very long time.

If you still haven’t watched it. I highly, HIGHLY recommend you to do it.
It will make you serotonin level higher for sure!
