Hi Guys,
It’s again that time of the year: The time when my favourite readathon is happening, thanks to Wonderful Kimberly from Caffeinated Book Reviewer who’s hosting HoHoHo Readathon for the seventh time, and it will be my third time participating.
Readathon takes place from November 8th to November 17th.
Last year I had so much fun and my only plan is to read more books than I have then. My aim is 6 books, and since readathon is 10 days long, I believe it is manageable.
I don’t have to go to work this year which is a plus, and also, in case you didn’t know, festive novels are my favourite kind so chances of me getting into reading slump are very, very slim (plus I only just got out of one recently).
I have two physical books I plan to read this time around:
I also plan to read these two Netgalley eARCs:
and
I have also requested two books via Netgalley, so if I get approved for them they will also make the cut, but if I get declined I’ll just pick up some other books from my physical collection.
That is it!
Wish me luck and please tell me will you be participating in HoHoHo readathon?
If yes, what are your goals? If you have a blog post about it, feel free to leave your links so I can visit you.
Good luck, lovely, and have the most magical time with this readathon ❤ xxx

I have a copy of The Cosy Chocolate Shop on my shelf. So I look forward to your review of that one.
I think after all your netgalley backlist reading you should be accepted for the books. I hope you do.
Happy festive reading Irena

Thanks Amanda. It was actually a gift from you for Christmas last year.
As for Netgalley, we will see. I wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t get accepted. I am already used to be declined even if I have 1000+ subscribers while people with 200+ subscribers get even physical copies of the books I requested in any kind of form. But that is the result of living in small foreign country and being completely honest in reviews.
Have a lovely day!

😊😆. I forgot what gifts I have you. 🙄. Now I really hope it’s good. 🤞
Yes the netgalley thing is not fair. But I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I am participating this year, and I’m very excited about it! I’m hoping to finish a novella a day, but I really don’t know how realistic that is for me.
Happy reading, and fingers crossed you get your Netgalley approvals! I’m curious to know what books they are. I might want to read them, too! 🙂

I actually think you can manage to read a novella per day, because they are usually short. I hope you will!
As for my Netgalley requests, I was approved for one – One Night on the Ice by Mandy Baggot.
The other book is Blood Heir but it’s still pending, and since it’ll be released on 19th I think it’s save to say that I won’t be approved.

Hallo, Hallo —
travelling through the #HoHoHoRAT as I recently posted my TBR tonight — I spied the Chocolate Shop book and was hoping it was cross-released into audio — I’ll have to mark that down to read if/when it does go to audio! Have you read other stories by this author? Any you rec?
May we each find some lovely bookish delights this #HoHoHoRat!

I have to admit that I haven’t read anything by her, so I’m pretty curious if I’m going to fall in love with it… Will review it after I finish, for sure!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I plan to go through other’s tbr too during this weekend.
Have a lovely reading!! 🙂

I nearly feel like I need to re-establish myself into her stories like a new reader myself. You have the pleasure of joy of being a new reader – I am hoping the joys I had when I initially found her stories will resonate well with you – I’ll be keeping an eye out for your review and seeing what your takeaways are – it will be nice to get a fresh perspective!
I look forward to your visit this weekend.. and thank you, I’m hoping November becomes a very wickedly delightful month spilt between #HoHoHoRAT and #SciFiMonth! 🙂 Top cheers!

How did you do with your readathon. I had plans to read five, dropped it down to 3, but will probably not finish the third one. I like your choices though.

Hi Carla, sorry for the late reply. Your comment went to spam box.
Im the end, I only finished 3 books for HoHoHo readathon. It could have been better, but I am okay with how it went.
