Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
This meme was created for bloggers to spotlight posts they published in the week, as well as to talk about what they plan to write in the week that’s coming.
Sunday post is also great opportunity to showcase books we got in the week behind us.
Hi Guys!
I know I am a bit late with my Sunday Post, but since I didn’t schedule one, and I was at my sister today (we just came back few minutes ago), I realized now it’s the perfect time to write and post one.
Believe it or not, this week I haven’t read a book. I read, but almost nothing. I guess I’m in a reading slump.
What I did this week was cleaning my house and reorganizing my book shelves.
When I was done, I decided to get rid of 43 books.
I found the new owners for more then a half of them, but there are still 16 books that need a new owner.
Last week on Book Dust Magic:
Monday: I reviewed The Fifth Letter by Nicola Moriarty
Tuesday: I posted my February Wrap Up
Wednesday: I reviewed Annabel Lee by Mike Nappa
Saturday: I reviewed Cruel Beautiful World by Caroline Leavitt
Next week on Book Dust Magic:
Upcoming reviews:
Book Haul:
For review:
Lovely people from Simon & Schuster sent me this beautiful hardback edition of Orange Blossom Days. I will definitely read this one next.
I was so happy when I got approved for eARC of this novel on Edelweiss.
I couldn’t wait so I started Things That Happened Before the Earthquake yesterday. So far it’s good, but I’m only 15% in.
That is it!
Let me know what’s been going on with you, what you’ve been reading or watching this week and feel free to leave your links so I can visit you.
Have a lovely Sunday!
I made a small dent in organizing my shelves this weekend too. I try to donate a bag of books to the library at a each visit to help move them into new homes. Have a good reading week 😉

Your new books look like perfect spring and summer reads. I’m always drawn to this genre with warm weather. I like to read them out by the pool. I did some cleaning up of book shelves and boxed up books to give away. Also got all of my yard cleaning done. Now to just start planting and maintaining.

Ah, yes, organizing the house is something I do now and then.
As for your books, I am curious about Allegedly. Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

It’s always nice to find a new home for books that are no longer needed. Sorry about the no reading this week- maybe this week will be better. I didn’t get a ton of reading done either. The Owl Always Hunts at Night looks interesting. That title has me curious. 🙂

I love getting rid of books. I take them to the used bookstore and use the credits to get more books. 🙂 Have a great week!

Is it hard for you to get rid of books? 43 is a lot 😊

Hi Jasmine! Tbh, it was a bit, because I decided to say goodbye to some pretty ones (like UK edition of My True Love Gave to Me) but on the other hand it was liberating. I got rid of books I that I read and will never reread again, so I don’t see the point in keeping them. It would be a greater situation if someone else enjoys them.
I don’t like hoarding things, so if I can say goodbye to some, I will try my best to do so.
Also, now I have more space for new books. 😉

It’s good to be able to say bye to them. There are definitely a lot of new books to read and you do have new books every week in your recap 🙂 It’s easier for me to get rid of ebooks than physical ones haha..

Me too, because when you delete them, they are still on your cloud. 😛
Tbh, if reading ebooks wasn’t such a pain in the *ss, I’d only have those and then purchase in physical format ones that I really, really loved, but I like reading physical books (and taking my notes directly in them) so much that I still hoard paperbacks/hardbacks.

Orange Blossom Days looks beautiful! Hope you enjoy 🙂
Sorry about the reading slump- those always suck. I hope it changes soon, although organising your bookshelves, etc, is a great way to spend time! I LOVE rearranging mine, lol 🙂
Have a fantastic week ahead, and happy reading!

Thanks Amy! Well, the good thing is, I am not in a slup anymore, because yesterday I started a book, and today morning I finished it. It was a non-fiction (Big Magic) so we’ll see now when I grab a fiction how my reading’s gonna go.
Thank you and I hope your week will also be nice. 🙂

Sometimes you just need some time off from reading. At least you were productive with the time! And I’m sure your shelves look great now 😀 Have a great week!
