  1. A Christmas Story!! “You’re gonna shoot Your Eye Out” is what I thought the name of the movie was when I was a child bc of the taunts the neighbors and family say about him wanting a Red Rider BB gun for Christmas!

      1. Oh, yes you must! They play it on TV 📺 every year on Christmas Day for 24 hours straight, over and over. I play it in the background and I think I could recite the movie by heart now! It’s brilliant and based on an adorable book about a kid who grows up in the 1940s and wants a BB gun for Christmas, but everyone tells him he’s going to shoot his eye out. He gets bullied and dares a friend to touch their tongue to a frozen lamp post and it gets stuck! Oh, how I love that movie, and just this year they made it into a musical!

  2. My recommendation is my favorite movie–While You Were Sleeping. I also love to rewatch Pretty Woman and Sleepless in Seattle.

  3. What a great giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win! I absolutely recommend one of my all time faves movies, A Christmas Story!

  4. A Christmas Carol the Disney one isn’t too bad. Or the old claymation Christmas movies. Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town and The Year Without a Santa Claus. I love making hot chocolate and curling up on the couch to watch them.

  5. Another great giveaway here Irena, thank you. There are some great movies out, but I can only recommend older ones I think. Anne of Green Gables, Frozen, Mary Poppins is a great Christmas movie. I look forward to your Movie Mondays to see what you will watch and your thoughts.

  6. Home Alone & Elf are my favorite movies to watch during the holiday season. The Princess Bride is my favorite movie to watch year round.

  7. I would recommend watching any of the Underworld movies. Nothing like a bunch of action to get the blood pumping to keep warm.

  8. Have you watched Serendipity? I just watched it a day ago and it was cute and sweet – not exactly a Christmas movie but fun to watch anyways!

  9. On a cold winter’s day, I just love to watch Gone With The Wind. It is a long epic that can keep me busy for hours.
