Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
This meme was created for bloggers to spotlight posts they published in the week, as well as to talk about what they plan to write in the week that’s coming.
Sunday post is also great opportunity to showcase books we got in the week behind us.
This week wasn’t my best, when it comes to blogging.
I kind of disappeared after Thursday and, since I haven’t scheduled posts that supposed to go live on Friday and Saturday, they never made it.
However, they will go live the week after this next one (that is already planned).
This whole situation made me learn a valuable lesson: always schedule your blog posts!
Other then that, this week was somewhat interesting.
I buddy read A List of Cages with my friend Jasmine from How Useful It Is. We both loved it and our reviews should go live this Tuesday.
Also, my Nook (e-reader) chrashed and now I have to read my ebooks on my phone, and let me tell you, I don’t like it. It’s been only few days, but I already miss my e-ink screen.
I plan to read ebooks I already got for review, but I don’t plan to request any books from Netgalley from now own (the only exception will be Sophie Kinsella’s new book in UK edition, if it ever shows up on Netgalley).
I plan to buy myelf a new ereader (probaby Nook again), but I don’t think that will happen too soon.
Last week on Book Dust Magic:
Monday: I talked about movie called Nine Lives, in my Movie Monday post
Wednesday: I talked about By Your Side in my WoW post
Thursday: I reviewed The Empire State Cat’s Christmas Gift by Nic Tatano
Next week on Book Dust Magic:
Upcoming reviews:
movies:
books:
I also plan to talk about beautiful Christmas Covers and there will be a new giveaway going on Wednesday.
Book Haul:
For review:
Won in a giveaway:
I was lucky enough to win Remember My Name in HQ twitter giveaway
Lekeisha from Lekeisha The Book Nerd hosted a giveaway for Black Friday, and I was the lucky winner. I chose two books from TBD, and Christmas Ever After is one of them (the second book will probably arrive next week). Thank you so much, Lekeisha!
Gifted:
Holly Martin was kind enough to send me her novel Christmas at Lilac Cottage to thank me for taking part in two of her blog tours this season. She also signed the copy and wished me Happy Christmas in this cute little Christmas card.
This parcel from my Secret Santa arrived last week, and I got a shopping bag, three pens and the newest novel by Karen Swan, called Christmas Under the Stars.
Current giveaways on Book Dust Magic
There is still enough time for you to enter my Winter Is Coming giveaway (if you haven’t already).
Currently Reading:
I am still reading The Chocolate Lovers Christmas (I plan to finish it very soon), but I also started My Sweet Revenge by Jane Fallon, which I am reading on my phone, so it will take a while before I finish it.
That is it!
Let me know what’s been going on with you, what you’ve been reading or watching this week and feel free to leave your links so I can visit you.
Have a lovely Sunday!
Sorry you had a few blogging issues this week 😦 I totally get how much of a pain it can be.
Enjoy that book haul and swag!
I can’t get over how delicious that cover for My Sweet Revenge is… ah, it’s so beautiful 🙂
Have a lovely week and happy reading!

That’s so sweet from Holly Martin ! Love your Secret Santa gift too ! Seems like a great week apart from your Nook crashing :-(. I can’t live without my (Kobo) e-reader so if this ever happens to me.. I’ll probably have a new one before the end of the day ;-).

Thanks Inge, I will survive with my physical copies for a while, but I can’t help but feel sad about it.
Yes, Holly Martin is so sweet, that was so nice of her, and she is always so grateful for what we, bookbloggers, do. She is one of first authors who supported my blog when I started blogging and I will never forget it.

I’m sorry your Nook has broken, that is really rubbish. You should enter Suze’s competition as often as you can to win a kindle.

You received some lovely books again this week. I’m glad you got ‘The Owl Hunts at Night’ and look forward to our buddy read in the new year. Hope this is a good blogging week for you.

I am also looking forward for our buddy read. It’s been so long since the last one… I hope we’ll both love The Owl.
Thank you for advice, I already knew about this giveaway (that is amazing, like all of their giveaways are (plus I love their reviews too)), but I never entered it. The thing is, Amazon does not ship Kindle into my country because of Croatian stupid goverment and their laws, so I don’t know even if girls send me the Kindle from their own address, if it would actually reach me, so I don’t want to take someone’s good chance to win kindle with that risk of not even getting it myself.
Also, I wouldn’t want to have Kindle fire. If my country ever discard the stupid law (apparently they should), I’d like to have Kindle paperwhite, because that one has e-ink screen.

That’s a shame, I didn’t realise your government has these rules. I hope they do change the law as I love my kindle and Amazon give free books sometimes too. I hope you can get a nook soon but until then real books sound good. Luckily The Owl is a real book. 😉📖

So sorry about your Nook! I can’t imagine my life without Pippa, my Kindle. But I would definitely buy fewer books without it.
Enjoy the week, and My Sweet Revenge looks tempting. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

Thank you Laurel! I will probably wait a bit and then purchase myself a new ereader, but at least now I’ll get to all of those physical copies on my shelf, plus I have 10 physical book proofs to read, so I’ll survive. 🙂

I used to never schedule posts when I started blogging and I missed stuff all the time lol, my life got so much easier when I started scheduling. Sorry to hear about the Nook! That’s what I have too although I use the Kindle app on my computer to read that way too…
I love cover posts and a Christmas Covers sounds fun. I’m a big fan of Definitely, Maybe so curious to see your review of that. Have a great week!

Thanks Greg. and sorry for the late reply.
It would be so much easier to schedule posts, wouldn’t it?!
I should do that…
Ohh, I also have Kindle app on tablet and mobile, but I don’t like to read from them as much. Nook is so much easier because of it’s eink screen.

I do hope you can get you another e-reader soon. Thankfully, you have some lovely physical books to alternate reading those and on your phone.
I’ve had numerous internet issues this year and now try to schedule all of my posts ahead. I do miss the occasional one now and then.
Enjoy those new reads and Happy Holidays!
