In month of June I read only four books, one of them being manga. So basically, I read only three books.
Honestly, I don’t even remember when was the last time I read so few books during one month.
I was pretty bussy, then went on a holiday, and istead of binge reading, I took my time with a book and enjoyed it slowly.
I don’t mind, because I rediscovered the beauty of slow reading.
I am not sure how my reading pace’s going to be this and in a next few months, but I would like to take my time with books so I could fully experience them, even if it means less books read in a month.
This are the books I read in June:

Oh, The Fire Child! I really want this one!
I am planning on having some slow-reading time in July. I am so busy and so behind on my work and reviews that it should be best not to fly through 8 books and be stuck with countless reviews again!

Hey Donna, The Fire Child should be a read now on Netgalley, so if you really want that one, you should be able to read it there. That’s how I got it!
And I already read it and it was good!!

That’s a nice pile of books to read. I’m glad you enjoyed your break away. I like to read a lot slower to really engross myself in the story, especially if its a thriller that you need to concentrate on the story. Enjoy your July book time.

I noticed you read on a slower pace. There is a beauty in it, right?
Before I discovered Goodreads (and all the books that I had no idea existed) I started rushing myself when it comes to reading so I could read all the books in the world, but now I think it’s a good thing to take your time with a book.

I always think I want to do a wrap up of the exact books I read, but with all the challenge updates I do, that never ends up happening. I think next year I need to cut down on the challenges I do.

That makes sense, if you’re doing a lot of challenges and wrap them up, then threr’s no really need for monthly wrap up I suppose…

I haven’t read any of the novels that you’ve shown above, but I think the cover for ‘The A to Z Of You and Me’ & ‘Faithful’ are absolutely gorgeous! Here’s to a better reading month this July! 😀
P.S. your blog background is really pretty!! 🙂

You’re right, they are absolutely beautiful! The A to Z of You and Me has a different cover in UK and it was also beautiful!
But I remember it was cheap, less then 1$.
Ahh, Thank you so much!! I hope July will be a good reading month. 🙂
And thanks for the background compliment. I purchased it as a part of the scrapping kit, but I forgot from what website.
Thank you so much for the visit! 🙂
